Antiques

For many of us, few things are as irrestible as poking around an antique store — even if you don’t have anything specific in mind.

For such people, Ligonier, Pennsylvania, is the place to be tomorrow (June 13th). Antique dealers from six states will set up tables and booths around the plaza in the middle of town known as “the diamond.”

This annual event is expected to draw 10,000 people, searching for that just right piece of glassware, or old toy, or even an LP record of some long forgotten performer.

Across the country, there are more than 91,000 stores selling used merchandise and they ring up sales of $9.7 billion a year.
