August - If you like motorcycles, there's only one place to be for the next few days -- Sturgis, South Dakota.

Normally home to some 5-thousand people, Sturgis will see some 350-thousand motorcycle fans jam the area for the Annual Rally. In fact, the number attending will equal about half the entire population of the state.

Other than fellow bikers and their chrome-plated mounts, they'll see trade shows, new models on display and cruise the wide open roads of the nearby Black Hills.

People love motorcycles for their sense of freedom.

Today, there are just over 4-million motorcycles registered in the U.S., with California home to nearly 1 of every 10 in the country.
